Abstract
The purpose of the article is to show the basic principles of solar drying, its classification based on the heating of the drying fluid, the way to circulate the air inside the chamber and its principles of operation, complying with all the characteristics for classify it as appropriate technology. The most important parameters for selecting a solar dryer are related to variations in design, construction materials, operating conditions, consumer preferences and quality interpretations of the dry product, as well as the economic nature to carry out the process drying at the lowest possible cost.
Keywords: Classification, parameters, types of dryer.
