Abstract

The aim of this bibliometric analysis is to provide a preliminary insight into the bibliometric data of research on Sustainable Innovation. The Web of Science Core Collection was utilized as the reference database for this purpose. A search for publications was conducted using the keyword expression "Sustainable innovation*". Based on the information obtained from the search, publications on the topic of Sustainable Innovation were identified, along with the key research areas in the field, the relationship of these publications with the Sustainable Development Goals, the main countries conducting research on the topic, and the most cited publications. The conclusions indicate that the topic is of widespread interest within the scientific community. China is the country that publishes the most on sustainable innovation; in contrast, Mexico does not appear on the list. Furthermore, Environmental Sciences & Ecology, Science & Technology Other Topics, and Business & Economics were identified as the most relevant research areas involved in the topic of Sustainable Innovation.
