APLICACIÓN DE HERRAMIENTAS ESTADÍSTICAS EN UNA EMPRESA ZAPATERA, UN CASO DE ESTUDIO

La industria zapatera es una de las más importantes en la región Laja-Bajío, teniendo como principal nodo a la ciudad de León, Gto., este sector se caracteriza por tener procesos en su mayoría artesanales, por lo que, es indispensable poder identificar factores de impacto que permitan optimizar estos procesos bajo la asignación más adecuada de los recursos disponibles a las diferentes actividades que integran las etapas de estos procesos, que van desde la clasificación de la materia prima hasta los últimos detalles del zapato terminado. Mediante la aplicación de herramientas estadísticas y de un proceso sistemático y estandarizado se analizan e identifican los factores que intervienen en el área de corte del sistema de producción del zapato que permitan la optimización de tiempos, presentando una propuesta de mejora para atacar el problema enunciado basada en los resultados obtenidos en el análisis estadístico.

Abstract
