La finalidad de este documento es presentar una reflexión de la Industria 5.0 con relación a la Educación Superior, es importante hacer un análisis de las habilidades y fortalezas que son requeridas en la Industria 5.0 para que las Instituciones de Educación Superior (IES) se preparen para enfrentar los cambios que se requieran. Las IES deben preparar al recurso humano y establecer las habilidades de los estudiantes, para la generación de profesionistas que sepan enfrentar el reto de la Industria 5.0. Encontrándose como resultado la relevancia del factor humano para subsanar las limitaciones del tecno centrismo de la Industria 4.0 que, si bien en un entorno productivo funciona inicialmente, en la formación profesional debe reforzarse para fomentar el pensamiento crítico, la creatividad y el factor ético, que las máquinas todavía están lejos de alcanzar.

Abstract
The purpose of this document is to present a reflection on Industry 5.0 in relation to Higher Education. It is important to analyze the skills and strengths required in Industry 5.0 so that Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) can prepare to face the necessary changes. HEIs must prepare human resources and establish students' skills to produce professionals who can meet the challenges of Industry 5.0. The findings highlight the importance of the human factor in overcoming the limitations of the techno centrism of Industry 4.0. While this approach initially works in a production environment, professional training must be reinforced to foster critical thinking, creativity, and ethical awareness—qualities that machines are still far from achieving.
