Abstract
In this paper, a hot-swap current-sharing control method and the design of an interleaved DC-DC boost converter powered by 250 W PV panels parallel-connected to a 190 V DC micro-grid bus are presented. Each solar panel is connected to two interleaved DC-DC converters controlled by the LT3782 IC, which is a current mode controller. For the micro-grid bus parallel connection, the LTC4350 controller is used to share the current supplied by each PV to the DC bus, in addition to the current mode controller of the boost converter, allowing excelent and fast performance in micro-grid sources hot-swap connection and disconnection. A brief state of the arte of current sharing techniques is presented, as well as the design and simulation of three interleaved boost converter modules.
Keywords: Boost, Current Sharing, Hot-swap, Interleaving, Micro-grid.
