EVALUACIÓN TEÓRICA-EXPERIMENTAL DEL INCREMENTO DE LA TEMPERATURA DEL AIRE QUE CIRCULA A TRAVÉS DE UN COLECTOR SOLAR DE PLACA PLANA (THEORETICAL-EXPERIMENTAL EVALUATION OF THE INCREMENT OF AIR TEMPERATURE THAT CIRCULATES THROUGH A FLAT PLATE SOLAR COLLECTOR)

Resumen


Resumen

En este trabajo se desarrolló una metodología de diseño térmico para colectores solares de aire de placa plana. La metodología se basa en ecuaciones prácticas que representan los fenómenos físicos de transferencia de calor tanto de radiación como de convección, la cual se emplea para determinar el incremento de temperatura del aire que circula a través del colector, así como su eficiencia térmica. Los resultados del incremento de temperatura que se obtienen con la metodología propuesta se compararon con resultados experimentales obtenidos al instrumentar un colector tipo. La variación entre los resultados teóricos y experimentales del incremento de la temperatura es aceptable debido a que el error entre ellos es del orden del 8% como máximo.

Abstract

In this work, a thermal design methodology for flat plate air solar collectors was developed. The methodology is based on practical equations that represent the physical phenomena of heat transfer both radiation and convection, which is used to determine the temperature increase of the air circulating through the collector as well as its thermal efficiency. The results of the temperature increase obtained with the proposed methodology were compared with experimental results obtained by instrumentation of a standard collector. The variation between the theoretical and experimental results of the increase in temperature is acceptable because the error between them is of the order of 8% at most.
